Reeling 'Em In

All the kids wanted to do was Fish Fish Fish. They asked about it the minute they got up and several times throughout the day. They did catch several fish - even one big one!

Madison had no problem putting the worms on the hook or getting the fish off. She cracks me up because she is a little tomboy but also a little girly girl.

Isaac (or I should say grandpa but shhhh) caught a big fish. He was so proud. Madison is extremely competitive (hey she does NOT get that from me so quit thinking it) :-) and was determined to catch a big one like Isaac. She never did though.

Grandpa had to do quite a bit of untangling for Isaac - he was definitely still learning how to cast and stuff!

While she didn't catch the big one, she did learn and 'ol fisherman's trick of holding the fish as close to the camera as you can to make it look bigger. Unfortunately, when you do that your hand and arm get big too!!
