8 Months Old!

It is so hard to believe that Hannah is already 8 months old! As you can see, she is 16 lb 1/2 oz

What a good little girl she is, she is pretty mellow still and extremely tolerable (she puts up with anything from Isaac, Madison, Samson (our dog) and from anyone else who comes her way)

She crawls all over the place, pulls herself onto anything - stationary or moving - and she walks along furniture and has 2 teeth so far.

She doesn't eat much for food and does not sleep very well in the night. Of course we don't care - we are all completely in love with her even when she is crying at 2 am :-) Today as I was making the bed I spotted Brock's trick to tolerating the crying nights - the ipod!!! I laughed (despite my slight annoyance) and knew that I wouldn't trade a sleepless night with Hannah and the ability to stay home every day for a good nights sleep and a day at work. I am very blessed to be able to stay home with the kids (so he can listen all night if he wants) :-)

Move over Aaron . . . . Here comes Isaac!

Isaac listens to Aaron Espe's Christmas songs and we find him singing Go Tell It On the Mountain all the time so I finally got him to do it on video. What do you think Aaron - do you need a back up singer?

"Who wants to see my TEETH"

I thought these pics were extra cute because you can see her two little teeth! She got one of them while I was in ND (2 weeks ago) and the second one last Sunday. They make her look even older. She will be 8 months tomorrow! YIKES!

Madison and Rogue

Madison had her riding lesson on Monday and got to ride Rogue a little bit around the barn before leaving. Usually during the winter she just helps clean stalls, feed horses etc. It was so cold (4 below actual, not sure what wind chill was) so they had to go in and warm up here and there. I am not sure why my pic looks spotty like that (advice anyone??) - is it the cold, dust in the air, sun coming through the door in the back???? She looked so cute I had to post it regardless of its obvious flaws :-)

Isaac the Storyteller!

It has been a week since we returned from our trip to my parents and we are all beginning to feel like ourselves again. We have all gotten some sort of cold, cough, sore throat thing this week. Isaac was especially bad and we are glad to see he is on the mend :-) He was feeling up to his old self and was telling us one of his many stories the other day. He loves to tell stories and they are quite creative :-) Thought I would share it with you!

Kids Galore - part 1

The kids and I drove to ND to visit my parents and met up with almost the whole family (everyone but Jesse) Cori and her 4 kids came from AL and Nicole and her 3 kids came from WY. Levi and his 3 kids, Laura and her 3 kids and Bekah and her 3 (soon to be 4) all live in the same town and so do David and Karmen. Therefore, all 8 of us and our accumulation of 19 children (10 and under) were together! We all had so much fun - it was hard to leave! There are tons of pics but how can you slim down with so many cute kids to take pics of :-)

Lily (5 - Laura's), Madison and Abby (6 - Bekah's)
Hannah and Jude (Cori's) - 16 days apart
Hannah and Ruby (4 - Bekah's)
This was so cute, the kids were eating lunch and we looked over and they were all praying - they don't even need adults to remind them!
Bailey (10 - Nicole's) and Lyrik (1 month - Laura's)
More of Hannah and Jude.
Chloe (5 - Levi's) and Maggie (4 - Nicole's) - these 2 are only 10 days apart
Grandma holding her youngest grandchild - Lyrik (Laura's)
The kids were so thrilled to see the deer right outside the window. We got to see them often over the course of the week
Wow, not even 1/2 of the kids!!
Here is the sweet little girl who's birth prompted the reunion! Isn't she adorable?
Isaac and his friend/enemy - Mary (3 - Cori's) They played nice most of the week but were having trouble at the end :-)
Grandma made aprons for the girls for Christmas. Madison, Bailey (10 - Nicole's) and Kate (10 - Cori's)

"N-amen!"

I have been trying to catch Isaac saying his prayers at night and finally accomplished it. Isn't this adorable. As you can see he is still learning "Jesus Tender Shepherd":-)

"Look at me Mom"

Hannah has been army crawling all over the place and a few days ago finally started using her knees to crawl. She still reverts back to army crawling sometimes but for the most part has it figured out :-) She also loves to pull herself up on anything she can reach - she started doing this almost a month ago but has gotten really good at it now. She is much harder to keep an eye on now!

Christmas Fun

It snowed most of the time we were there, big , fluffy pretty snow. It was so cute when we were walking in it Hannah kept looking up and opening her mouth catching the snowflakes.
We had fun making cranberry wreaths. It wasn't long before grandpa and Isaac joined in the fun

We had a great afternoon on Christmas day at a neighbors frosting cookies. We all got in on the fun. We frosted (and ate) a lot of cookies
Hannah enjoyed scooting all over while we were busy with the cookies. She even attempted crawling up the stairs and narrowly escaped a big bump on the head thanks to grandma :-)

Christmas Photos

We spent Christmas in WI with Brock's dad, Bruce and his wife, Jeanne. It was fun and relaxing and we were able to see many of Brock's relatives - including 2 grandma's!The kiddos on Christmas morning. They were good sports with this picture because all they really wanted was to open presents :-)We were finally able to get a picture of all of us together. Even Samson sat good (except he looks like crazy alien dog with those glowing eyes)
